I hate to think on how long it's been since I've picked up these paints and my brushes and actually painted. I don't know when or if I'm going to get the time to paint again. The downfall of not being a driven artist, I guess.

I love the sun. Filter it through some interesting windows and I'm in heaven.

Last winter I screwed my courage to the sticking place and asked if I could photograph the pool room in the Huether. I ended up with a crapload of great shots. This is one of them.

From the Museum of the American Indian in DC. The lighting in there was fabulously done, made for visual interest everywhere.

I have discovered a new way of sorting my files. It breaks it down into recent, last year, 1 year ago and 2 years ago. It's making it easier for me to pick pictures from various groupings to post. So I'm not just posting all my new stuff, some of my old is getting out here as well.

One day last winter I spent half an hour waiting on Julie's porch. Seeing as I carry my camera with me at all times, I spent the time photographing the various items I could see.

I've been blissfully ignoring the still dirty tent and old air mattress living in the trunk of Mephostophiles. They're camping leftovers, waiting to be put away.
