On the weekend my Mom and I went to Guelph for their Doors Open Event. One of the places they had open to visit was Homewood Health Centre. We ended up parking in the additional parking lot by mistake so we had to walk up these wonderfully interesting stairs to get to the building the tour started at.
Doors Open was really neat, but also frustrating as they don't want people photographing inside the buildings and in the case of Homewood, on the grounds. (We found that out after we had been shooting. Oops!)

There's this walkway sort of in Waterloo Park with these various engraved blocks. I realy like the way the newer one stands out, so I made it grayscale and boosted the contrast to play it up a bit more.

A look at the table set out for a family dinner in the backyard. I think the blue glass is a remnant from my Oma & Opa's place.

Just a little touch of summer beauty to start off my day.

Another one of the CEIT building series. The fountain they have there has this drain with a swirling mini-whirlpool above it. I tried to catch it but instead got this lovely play of reflected light on the water. It's one of my personal favourites of all my photographs.

Even the most simple things can be beautiful if you change your perspective.
